We only wanted some chickens for our own egg needs… famous last words…

Our foundation breeds were Easteregger, Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Buff Cochin, Crested Polish, ISA Red, Wyandottes and White Leghorn.

Our goal is to raise cold hardy birds.

We raise our own chickens, ducks, geese and Guinea fowl.

From spring until September, we hatch chicks, Guinea keets, ducklings and goslings.

Later in spring we add free ranging meat birds and turkeys for Thanksgiving.
